The Wok Restaurant Project Implementation

Trend Furniture, in collaboration with Mima Design, successfully implemented interior design elements and furniture that define the modern, warm, and welcoming atmosphere of The Wok restaurant in Sibiu, combining natural aesthetics with the specific functionality required for a high-quality HoReCa space.

The interior furniture manufactured by Trend Furniture includes:

• The Bar: Constructed from oak-veneered chipboard, offering a natural and robust texture. The serving counter was made from veneered chipboard, while the working counter is made from anthracite-colored, heat-resistant material, ensuring durability and an elegant contrast with the wood.

• The Back Bar (Retrobar): A system of sliding windows also made from veneered chipboard, metal, and glass, integrating harmoniously into the general design of the serving area.

• Custom-made Sofas:

  • The Central Sofa: A distinctive piece, visible in the central area, featuring a curved design and upholstery in warm shades of orange/terracotta, providing a comfortable social space.

  • Semi-circular Sofas: These were implemented to create intimate and ergonomic separees (booths), utilizing comfortable grey-toned upholstery.

• The Wine Display Cabinet: An elegant structure for bottle exhibition (visible near the bar in the first image), which complements the modern aesthetic of the space.

• The Chairs: The choice fell on the modern upholstered chairs, model Uma, which combine contemporary aesthetics with comfortable seating.

• Tables with HPL tops and Liberty legs.

For the exterior area, Trend Furniture supplied:

• The Roy Armchair: A terrace furniture element with a distinctive and relaxing design, contributing to the creation of a welcoming and stylish outdoor area.

• Hug Chairs and tables recommended for outdoor spaces.

Through the selection of materials—from oak veneer and the anthracite counter, to the carefully chosen upholsteries—and through the implementation of custom-made furniture pieces (the curved central sofa and the semi-circular sofas), as well as wall paneling, Trend Furniture delivered a project that highlights the interior design while ensuring a functional, durable, and aesthetic space for the culinary experience offered by The Wok Sibiu.
