Rossini chair

Rossini is an ebaseant and classic rattan chair that has been in the Sika-Design collection for more than 20 years.

The chair is part of the Sika-Designs Originals collection, which represents furniture models from wicker. The Rossini chair was designed in collaboration with the famous Japanese designer Yamakawa.

The seat and back of the chair are handmade from Indonesian rattan by skilled basket makers. Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material which makes the furniture products durable.
