The seat is a redesign of the classic R-48 Bendt Wings seat, also produced by NCP. The aim is to inspire large industries to make changes in the way they produce and reuse surplus material.
The seat shell is obtained from 100% recycled plastic waste from fish farms on the coast of Helgeland. By choosing an S-1500 chair, you have contributed to the elimination of 1500 grams of plastic waste and thus significantly reduced CO2 emissions compared to choosing a plastic chair.
The chair is available in 8 standard seat colors and the metal bases are available in colors that match the shell.
In collaboration with Snøhetta, NCP has done something new and innovative in sustainable furniture production, by recycling fishing nets.
