Riyo Wok& Sushi Restaurant

RIYO WOK & SUSHI is a restaurant with a Japanese specialty in the center of Timisoara. The concept develops around the central element, the Japanese cherry. In order to achieve the atmosphere with an Asian air, the arrangement presents materials such as natural wood, in several forms, natural slate stone, with a robust appearance, or paper through the presence of a wallpaper that represents an abstract Japanese landscape. Hard materials such as black stone, wood in natural shades, stainless steel with an industrial look dominate the space, but they are balanced by contrast with a terrazzo with a light pink-salmon shade and the protagonist of the restaurant, the Japanese cherry tree, with its delicate flowers.

The design project was carried out by the NKN architecture workshop in Timisoara. As part of this arrangement, we provided the chairs, the tables and made the banquettes and the ceiling based on the specifications.
